Film screening and discussion
As an accompanying program to the exhibition Basalt. The Layers of Oblivion, Péter Bacsó’s 1967 film Summer on the Hill will be screened, followed by a panel discussion with the film’s female protagonist, Katalin Gyöngyössy, and film historian Gábor Gelencsér, on the significance of the film, the circumstances of its making, and its reception.
