Summer on the Hill

Film screening and discussion (in Hungarian)

As an accompanying program to the exhibition Basalt. The Layers of Oblivion, Péter Bacsó’s 1967 film Summer on the Hill will be screened, followed by a panel discussion with the film’s female protagonist, Katalin Gyöngyössy, and film historian Gábor Gelencsér, on the significance of the film, the circumstances of its making, and its reception. Moderated by Iván Székely, curator of the exhibition.
