Fanni joined the Archivum in October 2018 as Audiovisual Outreach and Education Program Officer. Previously, she studied international relations and film theory at Corvinus University Budapest and at Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest), then international law and human rights at Maastricht University. Following a tour of Europe which included a few internships and a PhD program cut short, she returned to Hungary for the sake of her current position at the Archivum, where her tasks include organizing various activities for high-school and college students, related to the Archivum’s collections and to the exhibitions at Galeria Centralis. She also works on further promoting the cooperation between the Archivu, and the academic community in Hungary. She hopes to launch events open to feedback and new ideas and fitting into the curriculum of Hungarian schools.

(Re)construction: Archives in the City, City in the Archives (2025)

CEU, History in the Public Sphere
This 2-month program at the Archivum is centered on the theme of Reconstruction. It focuses on two aspects: (re)constructing history in the archives, and (re)constructing history in the public sphere. Throughout the program, this theme offers points of comparison and contrast in terms of the goals, the methods, the target audiences, the opportunities, and the challenges of (re)constructing history in these two domains.
